Kihei is known as South Shore’s center of attraction.  Situated in Haleakala’s rain shadow, Kihei offers one of the sunniest weather in all of Maui.  In Kihei, almost every day is a beach day.

Sugar Beach, Keawakapu, The Kamaole Beach Parks and Charley Young are one of the lovely beaches you can find along Kihei’s coastline.  Both locals and tourists spend quality time with their friends and families in the beach area – whether its sunbathing, boogie boarding, swimming, worship, surfing and windsurfing.

Kihei is also a great place to enjoy exciting ocean activities like scuba diving and snorkelling.  You may also want to drop by the Kihei Boat Ramp as it is a major departure point for tours on the alluring waters surrounding the Molokini Crater (please see pictures).

Apart from the exciting adventures that Kihei is known for, this area is also a diverse town filled with a healthy mix of locals, transplants and a constant stream of tourist traffic.  The Kihei condos available for rent are very popular among tourists.  It’s so popular that the term Kihei real estate has been constantly linked with condos.  It is good to note, however, that there are also plenty of exquisite homes for sale in Kihei.

Real estate here in Kihei has some level of diversity – whether its starter homes or extravagant beachfront estates, you definitely won’t go wrong here.  This diversity, along with the perfect sunny weather and the wide range of activities that Kihei has to offer make the real estate here hard to resist for Maui locals and second home owners alike.
